Nature center teaches the science of snowflakes | Events

The Latta Plantation Nature Center is teaching a class on the science of snowflakes this weekend.

Participants can grow their own snowflakes and make recycled snow globes to take home.

Those interested in attending should meet at the Latta Plantation Nature Center, located at 6211 Sample Road in Huntersville, Sunday January 20, at 1 p.m.

The cost is $4 and the class is open to the public.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
